The Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award

Bell Group is delighted to be working with The Mark Scott Leadership for Life team. The Foundation was formed in 1996 in memory of Mark Scott, a 16 year old Glasgow schoolboy who was murdered in 1995 in an unprovoked sectarian attack.

Since its inception the Foundation has made over 400 awards to individual young people living in or closely connected with Scotland. The participants are drawn from different social, economic, religious and cultural backgrounds, to work together to deliver a project to benefit their local community.

Social Housing

New Gorbals Housing Association aims to provide the highest possible quality housing, environment and services to all of their customers and to contribute to the overall regeneration of the Gorbals whilst addressing the needs of the most disadvantaged in the community.

Project Work

Bell Group first carried out redecoration works for New Gorbals Housing Association in 1999 and has operated a partnership since 2005 successfully carrying out all planned decoration works internally and externally to residential properties owned and managed by the Association. In addition, in 2012, we were awarded the reactive repairs and maintenance contract, where we carry out various works including full refurbishment of void properties to reactive minor works in occupied premises - flooring replacements, redecorations, electrical fixes, plumbing, furnishing repairs and minor roofing repairs.

End Result

Works are still on-going, however to date, works have exceeded the agreed timescales and costs have and are continuing to be saved.
